We strive to create and sustain a dynamic laboratory group of diverse and international members with a broad spectrum of scientific backgrounds, from biology to mathematics to physics to engineering/machine learning, because we believe such richness stimulates and fosters creativity.
If you are interested in joining our group and you see yourself aligning with our scientific vision, take a moment and submit your application.
Potential postdocs should write directly to Sandra Siegert with the subject “Postdoc request in the Siegert team” and include a CV, a motivation letter (outlining their interests in applying to the team, outlining the expertise they would bring to the group, and their expectations), and the names of two referees.
I am also open to ideas for new lines of work that align with my current interest and could be supported with external funding.
Graduate students are enrolled once per year via the ISTA graduation program. Students with bachelor’s and Master’s degrees can apply to this program. Students spend the first year completing coursework and rotations before choosing a thesis group and passing the qualifying exam. A detailed description of the program and the application procedure is described here.
If you are interested in performing an Internship/Master thesis, we require at least a 6-9 month commitment (except the ISTA summer internship program). If you are still interested, email Sandra Siegert with the subject “Internship request in the Siegert team” and include a CV, a motivation letter, and the tentative dates.
